About me

Hello! Congratulations on taking the first step towards your personal growth and health! The first step towards feeling better is reaching out and seeking help. My name is Brooke Anderson and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 17 years. I love my work because it allows me to help empower people to make positive changes in their lives. I have extensive practice in crisis services through working in Medical Emergency Rooms and a Psychiatric Emergency Room. A crisis is a critical opportunity for a turning point in someone’s life and I think that harnessing that moment is essential. You don’t necessarily have to be in a crisis, but recognizing that you want to change and reaching out for help is a significant step! I look forward to helping guide you through that process.

I have spent the last 10 years of my career in school social work and I have helped many teens and children make positive changes in their lives and manage some of the many stressors life can throw at us. This past year has taught me that we are all very resilient but we all do best when we feel connected and supported by others. I know how important it is in a therapeutic relationship to feel safe, valued, respected and develop trust with your therapist. I like utilizing a strengths based approach with solution focused therapy and other modalities. I want to work with you to identify what is causing some of your distress and discomfort and partner with you to find relief. I promise to be responsive, relational, and respectful through our journey together.

I look forward to getting to know you and start a journey towards better emotional wellness soon!
