About Me

Hello, and welcome!

My name is Brooke, and I am a licensed clinical therapist (LCSW-C), a holistic mind-body practitioner, and intuitive counselor. I have experience providing mental health therapy to adolescents and adults, including range of conditions, such as: autism spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, attachment and personality disorders.

Therapy is safe container for self discovery, healing, and human connection. I view therapy as a insightful and collaborative process between client and the therapist. Therefore, I do not rely heavily on mental health diagnoses in my clinical style, however, I use them as a tool to work together. Together and with vulnerability and validation, we can examine the past to identify inner beliefs and experiences that may be currently impacting you subconsciously. By doing so, we can become aware of the stories we tell ourselves that may leave us feeling powerless, empty, alone, or like we are stuck in the past. My role is helping you to discover your inner strength and peace from within. I want to help you get to know yourself.

My counseling style is warm, genuine, inquisitive, open-minded and patient. My intention is to create a non-judgmental space for self awareness and depthful processing. I believe in mutual respect, sensitivity, compassion and empowerment in the therapeutic relationship.

We would be a good match if you are looking to deepen your connection with your intuition, make sense of your past, or you are on an awakening journey. I use a mind-body-soul approach to therapy: CBT, DBT, narrative, humanistic, and Jungian therapy and and modern “inner child work/re-parenting” psychotherapy.

I teach emotional management tools, such as: trauma informed mindfulness strategies, boundary setting, self-inquiry, body awareness, breathing and visualization exercises, yoga therapy, meditations, and positive affirmations and intentions.

I look forward to getting to know you personally, and helping you on your journey of life to discover the best version of yourself!

-Brooke

We’ve only met via video chat a couple of times, but Brooke has been so wonderful, supportive, and validating. She’s been understanding that there are approaches that I’ve found haven’t worked for me in the past and has helped to find alternative approaches to try. Brooke is wonderful!

I appreciate having Brooke as my counselor because she takes the time to understand what I’m going through and offers a different perspective for a variety of situations. After each session, I can apply what we’ve talked about in real time and I’m growing in the things I want to work on. She’s amazing!
