About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 6 years of experience as a trauma-informed therapist in Salt Lake City, Utah. With clinical expertise in trauma, life transitions, and grief and loss, I have discovered the value of noticing body sensations that accompany thoughts, beliefs, and past and present experiences. From moment to moment, our bodies signal how we relate to the stimuli within and around us. This acute awareness will allow you to maneuver life's hurdles with more ease.
Too often, our focus is narrowed on the negative beliefs we have about ourselves, that we can’t see the larger picture, including our strengths. To expand our view, I often encourage mindfulness and self-compassion in therapy sessions; these practices coupled together can mobilize healing, increase our ability to manage distress, and expand our resilience.
I believe individuals are the experts on their experiences, and have the innate ability to navigate life challenges and transitions from a place of personal empowerment and resilience. Collaboratively, we will explore options for creating a meaningful life.

Brooke has gently led me to begin to trust myself. The gentle and honest way she brings my attention to what's going on and helps me to connect with my own knowing. I have referred folx to both Better Help and Brooke and will continue to do so.
She has been consistent and helpful in a very difficult period of life. I have not worked with her long, so we are learning about each other but I feel like she is concerned for my well-being. I like her approach and I look forward to continuing my therapy with her.
Because of trauma related to previous therapy experiences I was scared to start over. I’ve felt acknowledged and safe with Brooke from the moment she introduced herself to me. I’m respected and listened to, and I feel like she’s guiding me along the path of healing instead of looking at me like an object to be fixed. I’ve only had two sessions with her and was assigned her less than three weeks ago and I’ve already had tremendous progress. I highly recommend her to anyone who is queer/LGBTQ+ and living with trauma like I am. She’s been a game changer for my life.
Compassionate and intuitive. Very helpful!
Very intuitive and understanding! Nails the issue right on the head and very helpful!
So far I’ve had a great experience talking with Brooke. I really feel like I’m being listened to and that I’m learning more about myself and how to be aware in the process.
Brooke is very professional and enjoyed our first conversation.
Thanks ,Franklin
I appreciate how invested Brooke is. She is a great listener and seemingly remembers everything I say. She makes me feel heard, understood, and like her top priority. She’s quick to say her opinion might not be right, but it usually is!
