Brooke is such a great listener and so patient. She really cares about the well being of her clients and encourages to continue communication even after sessions. This is the type of therapist you want.

Brooke is very accepting and non-judgemental. I have had a hard time opening up to counsellors in the past, but I feel more and more comfortable discussing what's bothering me with each session. It feels like talking to a friend but also a professional at the same time. She is a quick replier to messages and is very personable in video sessions. She both helps me explore my current coping strategies and solutions, but also gently suggestions new things to try that are very helpful and usually things I wouldn't have thought of on my own. I appreciate the way she offers feedback and encourages me to keep trying. Her help has been so invaluable to me!

Brooke is a fantastic listener, understanding concerns and responding to them without straight up suggesting an answer, rather she encourages me to find my own answers when it comes to my needs and what works best for me. She adapts to my changing issues and helps keep me accountable to what I'm working on, and always reminds me of the things I need to be reminded of. It's lovely to work with her kind but firm attitude that makes me feel that she has my best interests at heart. It was quick and very easy to build a rapport with the level of trust that anything can be disclosed, an environment where I feel encouraged to be honest, forthcoming, and reflective. I look forward to seeing how much more I grow with her guidance.

Brooke Powell has been an incredible help to me and my growth. I have had a few counsellors before her, but never have I felt so comfortable and supported. She really takes the time to understand your concerns and offers practical ways to handle them. She is wise and compassionate and there truly is no judgement from her. In the past, I have found counseling sessions to be very awkward, but with her I feel the freedom to truly open up, allowing for real progress to be made.
