Welcome! I am a mental health counselor licensed in Washington State. I've worked with adult clients for over 10 years, in private practice and other clinical settings (agencies, medical clinics). I often work with client concerns of anxiety, life transitions, relationships, and grief and loss. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy: the idea that our actions are driven by our thoughts.
When we become overwhelmed, we can lose sight of our own sense of self; therapy is an opportunity to help restore perspective of you and your world. Our work together will be about identifying your struggles, strengths, and goals; then applying solutions that are useful and practical to you.
You already possess a wisdom about yourself that will make itself known in our sessions. I encourage you to be curious; it’s the most immediate path to success!

Bruce is incredibly professional and kind. He listens with compassion and an eagerness to understand. The questions he asks me have helped me to look within and to begin to better understand where I am at now, how I got here, and where I hope to see myself. I would highly recommend giving Bruce a chance and look forward to speaking with him every session.
Bruce is empathetic, kind and constructive. I like the way he reframes what I say to him and gives me perspective. He is responsive and always has good notes and reflections about what we are working on together.
I’ve gotten lots of value from my time with Bruce. 5/5 would get helped again :)
I've had a wonderful experience with Bruce! He's great at listening and helping me process my concerns in a productive manner.
I did not have a great experience with my previous counselor, however Bruce gave me confidence in counseling. He listens carefully and analyzes what I say. He also offers different ways of thinking and always has a takeaway during my weekly sessions.
Consistent with his efforts to get a hold of me and my busy schedule. Is very present and supportive!
Bruce is an amazing therapist. We've only had a couple of sessions so far, but his insights and advice really helped me through what's going on.
