About me

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I feel a strong privilege to work with individuals who have taken the courageous step to ask for help. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and a Master's degree in Counseling from Houston Graduate School of Theology. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating each individual with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and I am encouraged by your willingness to take that first step toward the life you desire to take the first steps towards a change.

I look forward to working with you!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Bryan Roper. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

When I started BetterHelp, I was a skeptic of online therapy. Bryan changed my perspective, such that I recommend BetterHelp frequently. Now, Bryan is an integral part of my support system. The questions he asks allow me space to arrive at my own resolutions. In that sense, I know I will leave therapy with the skills to act as my own teacher. He also takes care to understand personal circumstances before he responds with guidance. Thus, I always appreciate that he does not give a "one-size-fits-all" answer.

I found Bryan to be very open-minded and accessible. There was nothing I didn't feel comfortable talking about. He displayed a lot of understanding towards whatever it was I shared with him, and a lot of encouragement on my journey of personal growth.
