I think of counseling theory as the modern medicalization of philosophy to help others set measurable goals and understand themselves in a healthier way. The general public has access to all the information they ever want about the brain thanks to the internet . We all should know the causes of someone feeling helpless, it is always the brain firing in a less ideal way making it hard for people to adjust to the hardships of life. . I would love to help you respond to your emotions in a healthy way based on proper self-knowledge so you can navigate your life with as little confusion as possible despite what you have been through and what feelings are causing to seek out help in the first place.

Bryan is great. He’s been helping with my anger and my anxiety issues. He’s really just a calm, nonjudgmental voice that I can talk through my problems with. I’ve gained clarity and mindfulness from just a few sessions. I know that if I need help again in the future, I’ll definitely reach out to Bryan for that support and understanding. Bryan was very helpful in our initial meeting. Even just from the introduction I had several "oh wow" moments. He's really good at revealing the "other side" of what's going on with people.

I’ve participated in in-person therapy prior to seeing Bryan on better help, and upon joining the app saw Bryan weekly for a few months. He helped me tremendously. His style is relaxed and casual, but his comments are pointed, enlightened, and informative. He also gave me just enough space to talk through some things and come to some valuable insights on my own. I would recommend talking to Bryan if you are in need of working some issues out along the stress, anxiety, depression, or family matters axis.

He is very honest, compassionate, but not going to hold his truth back. Helpful and very constructive, supporting and wants the best for his clients. He has true good morals and values, I respect him as my therapist and also take everything he says with a grain of salt. He teaches me very good values and different perspective on how to look into situations and concerns.

Because it’s been about 25 years since I’ve had any therapy, it was difficult to know what to expect. In the month that I have been seeing Bryan, I already feel like there is already a little less pressure and stress on my mind. I am very picky when it comes to my counselors and will move on right away if I don't feel like the fit is working for me. Bryan, is great at sympathizing with my feelings/expressions while helping me take a more realistic and logical view on my tendencies to overthink everything.

I really appreciate what my counselor Mr. Bryan Young do for me. He has the insight. My partner and I had him for only 3 weeks but so many positive changes in my partner and I started to view many things in another whole new light. I met Bryan as a whirlwind of self-defeating emotions coupled with a scary financial situation and feelings of worthlessness. Bryan is very patient and considerate but at the same time analytical. He'll try to walk you through things practically and logically while at the same time compassionately. He also has a good sense of humor, which I appreciate. The time I spent with him as my counselor was very helpful for my mental health.
