About me

Hi, I'm Bryan Young, a humanistic counselor in Texas with over 12 years of experience. I've helped people in hospital settings delivering structured intakes, and in private practice providing hospitality to those navigating their concerns while going through challenging circumstances due to internal distress.

On Better Help, I help people cope with relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD/CPTSD and bipolar depression. I also work with veterans, over comers of childhood trauma, and goal-oriented entrepreneurs.

As a humanistic counselor, my primary role is to provide compassion in a way that resonates with and respond in a way that benefits the person in front of me.

A therapeutic relationship is a tool, a trustworthy resource, conveying information in a dynamic way that cultivates insight, hospitality and warmth despite personal suffering and hard decisions that need to be made.

When you're ready, I'd be honored to help.

Sincerely,
Bryan Young, LPC

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Bryan Young. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I have only had a few sessions with Mr.Young and he is very attentive to the questions and reading the room of the situation. I appreciate this, and I look forward to having more sessions with him.

Bryan was amazing! I was nervous about starting therapy for the first time but he made it so seamless and natural. I was able to feel comfortable unraveling about my personal and professional life, and he offered some of the best advice I’ve heard in years. I’ve already started seeing positive changes and results after implementing some of his tips and processes. I wish him all the best in his future and hope to reconnect with him again!

Bryan is a fantastic therapist. He is kind, thoughtful, funny, articulate, and brings a real sense of levity our session. Highly recommend

Bryan asked the right questions to help me organize my thoughts. He helped me see things I wasn't considering because of the pressures I had placed on myself. This was a valuable experience for me and I greatly appreciate his help!
