About me

Welcome to Better Help. I am a licensed professional counselor in Texas I have worked in hospital settings and private practice for over a decade with veterans and everyday people who are suffering from braking down to people wanting to work of self worth. I have a master's in counseling and a master's degree in philosophy. The key to a peaceful life is accapting your limits while learning how to pay attention to your body.

My formal training is in psychodynamic counseling, dialectical behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. In plain spoken terms, this means I get to appreciate the herculean effort it takes to achive their goals and help people adjust to change.

I realize that starting counseling can feel overwhelming, you may have a ton of questions based on circumstances or information you have read, I'd be honored to assist you by sorting through that information and systematically addressing your concerns and helping you feel more comfortable in your own skin. In my experience most people are not looking to just be analyzed.. I look forward to working for you and with you.

Sincerely,
Bryan Young

Bryan was amazing! I was nervous about starting therapy for the first time but he made it so seamless and natural. I was able to feel comfortable unraveling about my personal and professional life, and he offered some of the best advice I’ve heard in years. I’ve already started seeing positive changes and results after implementing some of his tips and processes. I wish him all the best in his future and hope to reconnect with him again!
