I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in California. I earned my bachelors degree Sacramento State University and my masters at the University of San Francisco. Most of my experience in mental health is working with people that struggle with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and anger. I work in the community in which there is an array of cultures and diverse individuals.
My counseling style is client centered and interactive. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is very important and should be based on trust. A positive therapeutic relationship is key to meeting treatment goals. It is through this bond a therapist is able to challenge, inspire, and promote change. My approach combines humanistic and cognitive-behavioral techniques. Other techniques can be used if there is a need.
Life has so many ups and downs and it can be so difficult to find our way. I am so happy you are here and I am willing to take the journey with you.
