I am an independently licensed counselor in Arizona with 7 years of experience providing psychotherapy and over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, phase of life issues, and career challenges. My primary area of expertise is trauma and grief.
My counseling style is casual and conversational. I believe that a good therapeutic relationship is the key to success in therapy. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach tends to favor Rational Emotive Behavioral therapy and EMDR, but I fully believe that it is important to tailor my approach to meet the needs of my client.
Participating in therapy can be such a rewarding experience. Just having another person to genuinely listen and hold space for you can be so cathartic. Therapy can be a big step, and if you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I very much look forward to working with you!

Caitlin was exactly what I needed during my time of high stress and anxiety! I really liked her style of counseling in the sense that she found instances in which she could relate my story I was giving back to something that would help to make it make sense. The tools she gave me are long lasting as well and I now have them to work anytime in the future if needed!

Caitlin is fantastic. In past online therapy experiences I felt like my counselor didn't really "hear" me and definitely didn't respond often which made me feel like 1) I wasn't getting my monies worth and 2) I wasn't making the kind of progress I was hoping for. This time around with Caitlin I feel listened to, and like she is providing me with valuable resources to help me deal with my specific life struggles. Beyond that, she responds quickly and I am never concerned about not hearing back from her!
