Hi! I’m Camila, a licensed clinical social worker. I’ve worked as a therapist in different capacities for about eight years, and I am a firm believer in compassionate, solution-focused therapy.
We are hardwired for connection, which means we solve problems better together. Therapy can help you figure out how to maximize adaptive responses to the challenges we all face in life.
My therapy style is client-centered and strength-based. I typically use CBT and motivational interviewing because they are effective. I think it's important to address affect regulation and attachment issues in therapy, but I don't set the agenda; you work on whatever you are ready to work on.
Relationship is key; if you don't feel safe, it won't work.
