Camille King, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals improve their emotional well-being, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. I provide a supportive, structured, and nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand themselves and develop practical skills to manage life’s challenges.
I specialize in working with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger-management, grief and loss, mood disorders and thought disorders. I have experience facilitating group therapy in higher levels of care, where I guide clients through psychoeducation, skill-building, and therapeutic processing to support recovery and stability.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and focuses on helping clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, regulate emotions, and build healthier behaviors. I also incorporate solution-focused techniques to help clients recognize strengths, set achievable goals, and move forward with confidence.
In addition to clinical work, my background includes working with families and individuals in high-stress and crisis situations, supporting behavior change, improving communication, and strengthening relationships. This experience allows me to approach therapy with both clinical depth and real-world practicality.
I believe therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and goal-oriented. My role is to help you gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and build the skills needed to navigate challenges both inside and outside of therapy.
What You Can Expect:
A structured and supportive therapeutic environment
Practical tools and coping strategies you can use daily
Psychoeducation to help you understand your symptoms and experiences
Collaborative goal-setting and progress tracking
A focus on building long-term stability and independence
Professional experience

Camille has really made a difference for me. I have tried two different therapist and never felt hopeful or felt that it was going anywhere. After filling out questionnaires and going over them and asking me questions, she really went deep into figuring things past just my wrong actions and behaviors. She has really helped me understand my actions and opened my perspective to understand where my feelings, my emotions, my reactions come from. We have just started with a few sessions and she has already helped me so much. She has giving me things to read, material to go over and work on and it’s exactly what I needed, Guidance and help in understanding myself and my behaviors. If you’re feeling hopeless that you can change, please give Camille a chance. I am grateful to have her weekly for help.
