About Me

I am a licensed therapist (LMFT) in California, with 6 years of experience providing therapy services to individuals (children and adults), families, couples, and groups. I have worked with clients who express a wide range of concerns including: depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, parenting difficulties, career challenges, psychosis, eating disorders, emotion regulation difficulties, and impairments in attention and focus. I particularly enjoy assisting individuals who have experienced trauma and abuse.

My therapy style is warm and collaborative I Approach therapy with the intent to provide a safe environment in which you feel understood, supported, and connected. so you can explore the current difficulty and select helpful interventions and solutions. My interactions typically involve approaches, interventions, and modalities from solution focused, narrative, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and dialectical-behavioral therapies. I also heavily pull interventions from programs associated with trauma and substance use.
I will collaboratively tailor your treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Candace is a wonderful therapist. She keeps me focused on my issues rather than just letting me talk without getting anywhere. I feel I’ve made more progress with her than with all the other therapists I’ve seen. I’ve done inner child work and also worked on my self care and self esteem. She is very knowledgeable and has a way of making you understand concepts with anecdotes and examples. She is very professional and I highly recommend her.

After changing therapists 4 times over the last 3 months. I was about to give up on therapy. Finding Candace and her structured sessions, trauma-focused expertise and professionalism. I am feeling more satisfied with the betterhelp platform. Sessions are helpful and we actually do work instead of just talking. Which has been more productive for me.

It's still early to say a lot, but so far from what I can see, Candace is a really calm and nice therapist, she really wants to understand what your going through and helps you set healthy goals to keep you going. Her approach is soothing and assuring.

Great for people who cannot do traditional therapy for various reasons. I hope my therapist is compensated well for her professional demeanor and skills.
