About me

I am an LPC, with 4 years experience as a therapist and a little more than 20 years of mental health field/profession experience. In addition to my M.S., LPC, I hold an A.S. in Behavioral Science, a B.S. in Psychology, and a second M.S. in Psychology.

I have ample experience working with individuals ranging in age from early childhood into the elder population. I've also worked with couples, helping them navigate through and better manage typical relationship strains and stressors. I also have vast experience in helping clients process trauma and abuse, develop and strengthen motivation, self-esteem, confidence, self-efficacy, personal empowerment and growth mindset; helping clients improve their capacity to cope, adapt, and adjust to life changes.

The most important element in my approach is the lived experience I bring to this table. I have experienced multiple adversities; similar to those endured by many clients. Likewise, I've done much and continue to do the work necessary in healing from those adversities.

Therefore, it is incredibly important that I create an open, judgment free and thoroughly objective space; making sure YOU have YOUR safe space to experience your processing as YOU NEED. Taking the first step to healing into a better life quality takes deep courage. I applaud your bravery and I look forward to supporting you in that process.

She has been absolutely amazing to work with and has done what I’ve asked for from a therapist. I was really skeptical and nervous at first but after my first video call with her I was immediately put at ease.
