About me
Beginning therapy is a brave act of self-care, and working with an effective clinician can be the support you deserve in bringing about powerful changes in your world. Clients come to me with a variety of symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and anger, as well as attachment wounds that impact the quality of their relationships. I work with people seeking to center psychological wellness in their lives, people navigating life's transitions, and people courageously healing from complex trauma. I have extensive experience working with adult survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. I am licensed in Louisiana and Texas.
My first objective is to provide a safe and affirming therapeutic relationship. From that foundation, I work collaboratively with my clients to develop an evidenced-based treatment plan that validates their lived experience and encourages their growth. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and I carefully utilize aspects of CBT, DBT, and EMDR.
Opening oneself up to change can be very intimidating. I welcome your questions about the therapeutic process, my approach and training, and how we can make therapy accessible and effective for you.
