Carmen Conley, LCSW
About me
Hello! My name is Carmen Conley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working in medical social work; specializing in geriatric care management, transplant, palliative and hospice care. My expertise in working within the healthcare system, allows me to help individuals who are navigating a life threatening illness, managing different types of losses and supporting their caregivers through these changes. My years in working with individuals and families has taught me that each person’s grief is unique as their fingerprint; there is no one way to grieve and everyone’s path looks different. With a warm and compassionate style, I work collaboratively with clients helping them explore their emotions, develop coping skills, focus on their own inherent gifts, and provide a comfortable space to process experiences.
I believe it is an honor and privilege to hold space for someone, to be allowed to share in their journey. I consider it a sacred bond of trust when one makes themselves vulnerable and discloses their deepest thoughts, emotions, and fears. It will always be received with grace and compassion.
I look forward to working with you,
Carmen
