Carole Ann Hart, BACP
About me
To begin with I would say, ''Let’s walk this path you are on side by side for a while— gently exploring what’s here, and what might lead you toward peace, purpose and a better way through life.'
To do this I work hard on keeping my skills and expertise at a place that supports you and during this process I succeeded in achieving an 'Accreditated' counsellor status with the BACP. Therefore I am licensed in the UK with 6 years of professional work experience. I continue to work on extending my skills and I am currently considering a research project . I am committed to doing the best I can to support you navigate the 'curve balls' life throws at us. My way of delivering therapy puts you firmly in the seat to do this. Some of the examples I can give you are helping with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, & depression. You will receive respect, sensitivity, and compassion. With a mutually tailored plan to that meets your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. To be part of your journey to a better place.
My specialist therapeutic children's and young person's training benefits my adult degree training/experience and enriches my work with you as an adult. Some of the ways it helps is with attachment, families and childhood.
It is important to understand that counselling can sometimes be challenging and that there are times when you may feel tired after a session and perhaps a little worse overall before you begin to feel better. It is important then to look after yourself, to give yourself time. If you can after a session, I would suggest you take some time to reflect on the session and to do some self-care, perhaps go for a walk, take a bath, listen to some music, whatever it is that feels right for you.

Carole Ann has helped me so much in just a couple of sessions, she’s a great listener but helps me to think around and solve problems myself. I wanted to really get to the bottom of why I have had these issues and she has shared some fantastic resources which have been so beneficial.

Carole is a great listener, gets to the nub of a thought quickly, empathises and helps me think of ways to work through it. I feel heard, seen and helped by Carole.
