About me
Bio Individuals
I am a licensed professional counselor in Georgia with over 25 years of experience working with individuals seeking help with: Communications
Life Transitions and adjustments, Work/life balance, Stress, Anxiety, Relationships, and Anxiety.
While my background has allowed me to work with diverse populations, I focus primarily on professional women and women of color.
I provide individuals with the tools for finding and implementing solutions to problems. Individuals learn to improve communication, to resolve conflict, and create environments important for change. Using primarily, “Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral” approaches, I enable my clients to sort through whatever is holding back growth. The counseling emphases is on learning how to identify priorities, overcome limitations, set attainable goals, stay focused on the present, and take actions to overcome challenges so that desired outcomes can be reached.
Additionally, since 2000 I have worked with military personnel at both CONUS and OCONUS locations and provided management consultation, team building, training, and on-site intervention to organizations and schools.
I believe many of us feel we know the answers to our problems. We have tried a multitude of ways to fix things, but still struggle. Sometimes, we feel like we are on a treadmill. Choosing counseling is a resource for changing unproductive behaviors and getting the support and guidance needed for positive change.
Remember counseling is about taking care of you!
I am looking forward to connecting with you.
Warmest regards,
Carolyn Evereteze PhD
