About me
Brene Brown said it best - "Imperfections are not inadequacies, they are reminders that we are all in this together."
I practice a strength-based approach to counseling in a warm, relaxed, comfortable virtual online environment. In our sessions you will be valued, heard and validated through a positive and affirming perspective.
I address a wide range of issues with adolescents, adults and couples, including depression, anxiety, other mental health disorders, trauma, grief, unresolved emotional issues and relationship concerns in both individual and couples' approach to counseling.
I am Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) and a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) in the State of Michigan. I have held credentials in Trauma Counseling with youth and adults. I have extensive education and experience in the field of depression, anxiety, trauma and addiction.
I have continued my career in the mental health field/substance abuse/trauma field for over 25 years. I have experience in both mental health and substance abuse with trauma, depression, anxiety, co-occurring disorders, and human trafficking victims (sex and work trade).
