Carri Barish, LMFT, LPC
About me
As a licensed therapist in California and Oregon, I specialize in supporting individuals navigate life transitions and challenges. My approach centers on helping clients develop self-compassion as they improve their abilities to successfully express themselves and and engage, versus fear, speaking up for themselves and connect more with those they love and the activity and work that brings them joy.
I have extensive experience addressing a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, relationship dynamics, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. My practice focuses on empowering individuals to overcome interpersonal difficulties, co-dependence and perfectionism while exploring what gives them their sense of purpose.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, designed to create a supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop healthier coping strategies and enjoy some laughter along the way. I'm particularly passionate about supporting young adults, women, and individuals struggling with workplace and relationship stress, family dynamics, and personal growth.
I focus on the application of small behavior and lifestyle changes that help clients reconnect with their inner strengths, challenge limiting beliefs, and create meaningful change in their lives.
