Life's joys and beautiful moments can be spectacular and fulfilling, just as life's challenges can be overwhelming and heartbreaking. When life events have created roadblocks in your journey, it is only natural to seek assistance, guidance, and support. I am a mental health therapist licensed in the state of Nebraska and have spent over 20 years working with people in overcoming these roadblocks.
I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship, and provide a comfortable, safe, and accepting environment. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating people with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My therapy model is solution-focused, and centers on helping clients identify and develop problem-solving strategies for life's difficulties by using their personal strengths and natural family network.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Carrie is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. She has the ability to drill right down to the real truths, and has been incredibly supportive of me, as I am processing trauma. I genuinely feel better after each encounter with her.

I am very pleased with Carrie’s responsiveness to my concerns. She provides concrete guidance on how to handle difficult situations and I like the various tools that she suggests, i.e worksheets, book recommendations, mindfulness links, etc.
She is actively involved in helping me with my struggles and available between sessions to communicate with me.

Carrie has been a breath of fresh air after I have been struggling with my mental health for months. I am so thankful to have found her and matched with her through this platform. She's kind, empathetic, and listens more than she talks (which is what I needed). She gives me new ways to look at my situation and brings a wonderful positive energy to our sessions. I would highly recommend Carrie as a therapist and mental health support specialist.

Carrie is a fantastic therapist - she has built a therapeutic alliance with me - unlike that of other therapists that I worked with. Carrie models unconditional positive regard, paraphrases my comments to make sure she is understanding my position, and often maintains a neutral stance on issues so that I can gain valuable insights; if she does offer advice, it's in the form of reflecting back to me, and posing open-ended questions so that I remain engaged in problem solving.
