Before I got connected with Carvan, I was in one of the lowest points of my life so far. I have been having meetings with her once a week for the past 3 months and I am beyond grateful to be consulting her on this healing journey. I still have a ways to go, but I have already come so far in re-formulating my direction, being the best version of myself, and having healthier relationships. She is awesome and I can't thank her enough!

She has been such a big help over the past few weeks. I’ve learned so much about myself and what I need to do to continue to heal. So grateful for her

Hands down the most empowering and supportive therapist I’ve come across. I’ve survived some of the scariest moments in life with her support even when I didn’t think I could. I’m eternally grateful for her support in my journey towards healing.

Carvan has been an excellent counselor for me since the beginning. She has been proactive with tending to my issues/concerns by sending me relevant articles about it.

She made my negative feelings about caring for my grandmother relevant and family by telling me about “caregiver burnout”, then sending me articles about it after our session.

She makes it known that I can contact her at any time and it makes me feel to be supported while I am trying to work through some of my issues.

“Dr Carter”, as I like to call her, walked with me for 6 months. She was always kind. She checked on me through the week, EVERY week. For 6 straight months. I could tell that she checked on me more during weeks that seemed particularly more emotional for me. She sent me articles and information to read to help me process. There’s A LOT of moving parts in my life, and she kept up with them ALL. And was flexible if needed.

I thoroughly enjoyed our journey together and I can honestly say that I’m light years better than where I was when she and I first started counseling. I recommend her services 100%!
