About me
Hi, thank you for visiting my page.
I'm based in the UK and have years of professional work experience in many areas. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Along with my own personal experience this makes me the ideal person to help you help yourself.
I have helped clients with stress and anxiety; coping with grief and loss; motivation, self-esteem and confidence; depression and anxiety; personal, professional and relationship issues; domestic and sexual abuse; medical and health issues. I’m also experienced working with neurodivergent & neurotypical clients.
Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
Counselling will help you gain an understanding of the worries you may have; you will learn new coping strategies to manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and you’ll grow in confidence along the way. You may feel at times it’s like a roller coaster ride, some ups, some downs, however, our aim is for the end of the ride to be settled and steady.
Unfortunately, I wish I had a magic wand to resolve your issues, I don't! It takes work from both of us, collaborative process, so I will facilitate the sessions which help you to be able make your own decisions which will also help you for the future.
I have a range of appointment times and I'm willing to arrange appointments outside my schedule by mutual arrangement.
Get in touch when you feel you are ready and we can take your journey together.

Catherine is an extremely proficient therapist who takes time to listen before speaking. She's also very approachable and makes talking about challenging subjects easy-going. I'm very thankful for the support she has given me and I would recommend her to anyone in need of comprehensive mental health support.
