About me

I am an independently licensed clinical social worker. I graduated from the Catholic University of America in Washington DC. I started out providing intensive treatment to adults with both developmental disability as well as severe and persistent mental illness. I then began to supervise our family preservation teams, providing assessment and clinical supervision to families at risk of abuse, neglect and disruption. I am now a clinical director, providing assessment and oversight of treatment to individuals with conduct, mood, and mental health disorders. I see a small caseload of my own while providing clinical guidance to other practitioners.

I focus on working with the client to develop their desired goals for treatment, while providing a solution focused plan to address their symptoms. I believe it is important to utilize evidence based practices and assessment to target a decrease in symptoms and meet goals for one's mental, emotional and behavioral health. I have significant experience working with individuals to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression and anger. I have also treated many individuals managing the challenges of personality disorders. Finally, I have a great amount of experience working with caregivers to decrease strain and address family conflict.
