Cathleen Lilavois, LCSW
About me
I am licensed in New York with over 10 years of professional work experience. I have worked in the child welfare arena where I provided counseling to children, adolescents and their families around abandonment, trauma, abuse, neglect and the gamut of emotions that surround that population. I have also provided therapy to mothers who have involvement in the child welfare system. Beyond that, I have provided therapy for young adults trying to navigate life and develop a successful plan for their future. I have counseled adults with depression, anxiety and concerns around self-esteem and self-love. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, & confidence. I also have experience working with compassion fatigue. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
