Ms Cathlene Young is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over 5 years of experience serving the needs of individuals, families, and children.
Ms Cathlene Young's experience includes, but is not limited to, working with crisis mental health, emotionally challenged youth, young adult/adult depression management, aging and trauma, and grief and loss concerns. I worked in various human service capabilities such as a Case Manager, Family Advocate and clinician at a Behavioral Health Home. Her background has served to expand her appreciation for diversity and differences. Ms Cathlene Young is aware that honoring people’s differences allows for new growth and increased knowledge. Her therapeutic approach focuses on encouraging and assisting clients to develop internal strength, become more flexible, and increase their self-worth through evidence based social work modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Talk Therapy, and Problem Solving Strategies.
