About me

I have had the privilege to attend and graduate with my Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies/Child Development, with a minor in Youth Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University. I also completed my Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University.

For so many people personal issues, hardships, challenges, mistakes, the good, bad, and the ugly are to be kept to oneself. We all have been in certain situations that we have said, “I can figure this out on my own, it’s my issue, my problem”. With confidence I can say that life is so much better in relationships. My one my greatest passions is to help others understand and know the importance of making connections and maintaining with others. Being a Licensed Professional Counselor is a huge opportunity for us to go on this journey together, the journey of healing or just to deal with life’s most difficult situations.

Whether its depression, anxiety, anger management, navigating through unwanted thoughts, grief and loss, self-worth, and correcting behaviors in children and teens, we can navigate through them together. I incorporate edge evidence-based counseling techniques such as, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, along with a biblical foundation, I have been able to walk alongside teens, adults, and families through some of their most difficult moments. “It’s not how you start but how you finish”, let’s finish well!

Catrina always listens to me. She gives me ideas on how to cope with my anxiety and deal with day to day stressful situations.

In the short time (2 sessions) I've had with Catrina, I've found her to be an incredibly open minded, helpful therapist, with excellent listening and communication skills. She also is just straight up good at putting up with me, and I know I'm a challenge (I'm here after all) and that means the world to me. I know I have a lot to work through, and I'm very happy to continue doing the work with Catrina.
