About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. I work with people who are facing challenging times in their lives. Sometimes the most valuable think I can do for you is to listen and care. Other times, you might need help identifying the underlying cause of a feeling or conflict in your life.
I am trained as a Relational-Cultural Therapist and believe the work of healing happens in relationship (between the client and the therapist as well as in relationships in day-to-day life). I utilize therapeutic skills from a variety of models including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
No matter how big or small the issue you want to discuss, I believe that my therapeutic techniques will be helpful to you. Contact me when you're ready to get started.

Celeste is really great and our messaging is really helpful. I've always felt that she cares and she has given me insights that have given me breakthoughs in my personal life. She has helped me to navigate through a few crisis in my life.

I have been working with Celeste for nearly a year now. Prior to Celeste, in my entire life I have seen 6-7 different therapists for differing lengths of time. Remarkably, Celeste, an online counselor, has been the best! No one is more surprise by this than me. I wouldn't think an online therapy situation could be better than an in person therapeutic setting, but in this case it is. In fact, after working with Celeste for a few months I no longer felt the need to see my other in person therapist, that I saw once a week in her office. The quality of Celeste's counseling was just so much better.

Celeste is extremely compassionate, understanding, and supportive. When we have a session I always feel she is fully present, and she usually has insights I would not be able to come to on my own, and again I am no novice to therapy. Overall, I would say I am very pleased with Celeste, and BetterHelp.

Celeste is wonderful. I feel very comfortable talking to her about things I would otherwise feel anxiety about speaking to anyone else about. She is nonjudgmental. She is intelligent. She gives me reality checks when I need them and reassures me when it is appropriate.

Celeste has been a huge help to me. She is great at suggesting the right things at the right time, respecting my limits but also challenging them at a doable pace. She's very encouraging and caring, and it feels great knowing I have someone I can talk to about anything and get a rational, helpful response geared towards my personal growth.

Celeste Souza is a great counselor. I've only been talking to her a few weeks now but I can see she's concerned and interested in helping me be the person I'm striving to be. I appreciate her and her words of kindness as well as wisdom. She also relates to you and your feelings. Thank you Celeste for what you have done and are doing for me.

Celeste has offered me a safe space where I feel validated by being listened to, where my deepest aspirations and highest values are reinforced, thus enabling and encouraging positive outlooks on my circumstances, personal betterment and determination to live by example, with dignity and uplifting passion. Having found this rewarding therapeutic relationship through BetterHelp has been one of the miracles I include in my gratitude affirmations. Directly and indirectly, working on myself and my life with Celeste has triggered insights and stronger decisions I wouldn't have believed myself to be capable of before. Deepest thanks and regards.

After working with Celeste about a week or so, I am feeling better. She's helped me with framing my understanding of my emotions, reactions, behaviors and such. Her tools work really for me and she's responsive. Her responses aren't canned. You know she's engaging with you by her discussion. She's a really good therapist.

I have had a great experience working with Celeste. She has really made an effort to get to know and understand me, to respond quickly and to let me know that she is here to support me. She has given me skills and tools, but mostly I feel that she cares about what is going on for me and knows how to effectively support me. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Celeste is professional, and then again, she's also very warm. I had very clear concerns when we first spoke and as things progressed and my life unfolded, I got very emotional and unable to focus on them without help. She was that help. Guiding me gently back to what I needed to do and listening so that I could still express the turbulence that I was going through. I'm overseas, away from home, where professional mental health help is impossible to find. Without this - I'd be in very bad shape. She's really made it much easier to maintain, grow, and find happiness even during the challenges that I'm facing.
