Chad Buske, LMHC
About me
Life presents us with inevitable stressors and obstacles in various forms. The view which we take in interpreting, finding meaning in, and coping with these experiences can be the difference between resiliency and suffering. Let's talk through it. The counseling process may shine a light on how to overcome or manage the stressor or obstacle. It takes courage to change and seek out a more fulfilling life. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.
I provide a blend of Humanistic and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I provide short-term solution-focused counseling or longer-term "deep dives" into your personal human experience. As a mental health counselor, my goal is to offer you an authentic, respectful, compassionate, and non-judgmental therapeutic atmosphere so that you can find the answers you seek.
I am a License Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in New York with 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, anger management along with conditions of emotional dysregulation.

I've only had one session with Chad so far, but it's the most heard and felt I've ever been in my life. Any doubts that therapy could be beneficial are gone and I'm looking forward to my next session with him.

The only person I’ve been able to talk to since a kid. He’s very understanding and concerned. He tries to help to the best of his abilities. He strives to make sure you’re heard and accepted. He validates feelings.
I’d recommend him over and over again

Chad has only been a pleasure. He has been frank in sharing all of his knowledge about how to get through the problem. With texts, he is incredibly attentive and helpful.
