About me

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida, with nearly 20 years of clinical experience. I spent many years working in both outpatient and inpatient settings and am currently working in Private Practice. I have worked with diverse clientele on such issues as: depression, anxiety, anger, grief/loss, life transitions, parenting, family and relationship concerns, trauma, addictions, identity and self-esteem, emotional impact of chronic illness, and issues specific to military and military families.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in a Client-Centered framework. That means that this is your therapeutic process, not mine. It is my professional and ethical responsibility to meet you where you are in your process and help you get where you want to be, as you see it, by utilizing the appropriate therapeutic modalities. I wholeheartedly believe that trust and honesty are the primary foundation for a comfortable and effective therapeutic relationship. I will regularly ask that you check in with how you are feeling about the direction and effectiveness of our work together.

Seeking help in a time of crisis or transition is often the hardest part of the process. Congratulations! You have already taken that first step! I look forward to walking this journey alongside of you!

Wonderful Therapist.

Chani has a deep understanding of emotional turmoil a person goes through divorcing a narcissist. She manages to always frame things in a way that really helps you understand your behavior and that of the other person and how to put things
In perspective,
Chani has helped me through one of the most difficult times in my entire life in a short period of time. She has a great “style” of coaching and explaining, along with listening.

A blessing that I'm very grateful to have a live human to touch base with, connect with, in tears to my mental health. It's been a great leap for me to begin sessions, never had mental health counseling in the past, and this method with Chani I trust after my first three, weekly sessions. Grateful 🙏🏽
