About me

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida, with nearly 20 years of clinical experience. I spent many years working in both outpatient and inpatient settings and am currently working in Private Practice. I have worked with diverse clientele on such issues as: depression, anxiety, anger, grief/loss, life transitions, parenting, family and relationship concerns, trauma, addictions, identity and self-esteem, emotional impact of chronic illness, and issues specific to military and military families.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in a Client-Centered framework. That means that this is your therapeutic process, not mine. It is my professional and ethical responsibility to meet you where you are in your process and help you get where you want to be, as you see it, by utilizing the appropriate therapeutic modalities. I wholeheartedly believe that trust and honesty are the primary foundation for a comfortable and effective therapeutic relationship. I will regularly ask that you check in with how you are feeling about the direction and effectiveness of our work together.

Seeking help in a time of crisis or transition is often the hardest part of the process. Congratulations! You have already taken that first step! I look forward to walking this journey alongside of you!

Chani has been a great therapist to work with. She’s thoughtful, attentive, and creates a safe space to explore things honestly. I’ve appreciated her balanced perspective and the way she asks insightful questions without being pushy. She’s supportive while still encouraging growth, and I’m grateful for the guidance she’s provided.

Chani is one of the best therapists I have ever had. She listens to her client, understands what’s going on and offers constructive reframing of situations, feelings and views. She is helping me get through one of the worst times of my entire life. I couldnt function without her guidance and support and her tremendous insight into how a narcissist behaves.
I’m extremely grateful to have found Chani.

I’ve never experienced myself like I do with her. That’s value.

Chani is incredible. Her connection, observations, and attention is so intentional and intuitive. She really listens and is able to use vocabulary that makes sense me and resonates so deeply. I often feel as though I am speaking with a more experienced/ wise version of myself - the way she is able to connect to me. It feels cosmic and divine that we were connected by BetterHelp - many times Chani has offered support / advice / thoughts using the exact same sentences I have spoken or thought in the previous days & weeks (without ever mentioning it to her!) I look forward to many more sessions and digging deeper with her!
