About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker in Oregon and Louisiana with over seven-plus years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked with clients (individuals, couples, and families) with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, Trauma, emotional abuse, and managing physical health concerns (high blood pressure, Diabetes, etc. ).

When life happens sometimes, things are beyond our control, and we are unsure how to proceed. During these difficult times, it can be challenging to reach out to someone for help with prioritizing difficult situations, processing emotions, dealing with problematic relationships, or simply needing support with identifying what you're experiencing within the moment. I strive to provide support during these difficult times by utilizing client-centered, DBT, CBT, Solution-focused, humanistic, motivational interviewing techniques, and a host of other modalities. I approach the individual by using warm, interactive, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed lenses. I work in a collaborative environment and believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique needs.

It takes courage to seek support during difficult times and take the first steps towards creating a change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Charlene is very helpful. She knows just what to say, and gives me plenty of time to vent, or talk about my situation. She is respectful and professional, but also very down to earth and easy to talk to. I’ve noticed great improvements in myself since starting therapy with BetterHelp. The worksheets are good to, and Charlene sends me the appropriate material, which keeps me engaged. Thank you.
