He listen and was encouraging and compassionate

Just a wonderful human being

Written on Oct 31, 2025 after therapy with Charlesmani for 3 weeks on issues concerning stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, intimacy-related issues, anger management, compassion fatigue, and adhd

Sometimes, he waits for me to initiate the conversation instead of actively engaging or leading the session. Consequently, I get confused because I’m unsure whether he’s waiting for me to speak or if he’ll take charge and ask me a question to prompt or elicit a response so that he can assist me. I find it frustrating when the therapist appears to be waiting for the “patient” to talk while they’re putting in minimal effort, aren’t asking probing questions, and simply wait for the therapy patient to talk themselves to death until the session ends. I’m not a fan of that approach because I believe it doesn’t effectively help me in the long run. He did provide me with tasks to complete at the end of the previous session, but that’s because I suggested them rather than him suggesting them.

My therapist listens to my situation and offers a positive solution. Also he expresses different ways of coping.

Very nice man, great insights, helpful

Written on Oct 01, 2025 after therapy with Charlesmani for 1 year and 5 months on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and sleeping disorders

He has been nothing but helpful with my therapy. He listens to me and helps me find solutions to my problems rather than just letting me talk the entire time. He offers guidance and presents options to allow me to get to the bottom of my issues.
