Charlotte Yau
About me
I welcome clients who are navigating life between cultures or identities- whether they've migrated recently, grew up between cultural worlds or struggling in a caring role. You may feel a sense of disconnection, struggle with belonging, or carry unspoken grief related to identity, language or family expectations. Many of my clients are looking for a space where their full complexity is welcomed and where culture isn't something they have to explain or defend. You may want to use the space to reflect on your journey, process difficult memories or rebuild a sense of identity and stability in a new place.
Therapy with me is a place to reconnect with yourself, developing resilience and regain a sense of balance. I offer a warm, compassionate space where people from all background can explore their experiences, identities, grief and challenges in a way that respect their cultural values and personal narratives.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, low mood or identity struggles, I bring compassion, hope and care to our work together. You deserve support too. Feel free to reach out- I'm here to listen.
My availability is Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
