I am a mental health counselor licensed in Mississippi with over 6 years of experience working as a crisis therapist for both youth and their families. I have worked with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, family conflict, ADHD, ODD, DMDD, PTSD in youth, and parenting skills. I have worked with survivors of abuse and their families.
My counseling style is interactive, conversational, and opening. I am continually seeking continuing education in order to become trained in new therapies to bring these new skills to the people I serve. I believe in respect, compassion, and empathy and I do not believe in labels or stereotypes. My approach to therapy combines cognitive-behavioral, person centered, and motivational interviewing. I believe in an individualized approach to treatment, and I will make sure every treatment plan is individualized to meet your own specific needs.
It is often difficult to take the first steps towards creating change in your life. If you are ready to take the first step by reaching out, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to accompanying you on your journey forward in life.

So far it’s been a great working relationship. I feel like the pacing is good in not trying to dig too deep too fast. I also enjoy the homework it’s been nice to know there are healthy ways to deal with my anxiety.

Charise is remarkable, truly one of a kind. I have a lot to work through but she’s been there and present and patient the whole way through. Truly appreciate her for all her help, for her empathy and her passion for helping others. I feel listened to and understood, she never cuts you off and ensures you get what you need out, she’s resolving and insightful, I truly appreciate her and you will too! She’s a joy, I have always struggled with finding a therapist growing up to connect with on a personal level and Charsie is just wonderful, couldn’t ask for a better to person to help me mend myself ❤️Recommend
