About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and have been practicing in North Carolina for four years. I completed my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University in August 2016. I currently work primarily with children and adolescent but I have experience working with all ages as an outpatient therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including, but not limited to ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, ODD, and Conduct Disorders. I have also worked with clients who have experienced physical or emotional traumas and abuse.

My approach combines Cognitive-behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics.

It can be intimidating to seek help. If you are ready to take the step towards making changes in your life I am here to support you.

I look forward to working with you!

Chelsea is extremely helpful and kind! She checks in on me to see how I'm doing especially if I haven't sent a message in a while. She listens to what I'm saying and helps me work through each issue. Would definitely recommend speaking with her!
