About Me

I am a Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Missouri and I have been practicing Social Work for almost 12 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, including medical social work, hospice/bereavement social work, and in private practice, working with a variety of ages and various populations. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and other mood disorders.

My therapeutic style is very warm and empathetic. My first goal in sessions is to make the client/s feel as comfortable as possible, especially when the situation is anxiety provoking. I offer a supportive and encouraging perspective while challenging and providing guidance when necessary to reach therapeutic goals. My therapeutic perspective is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral approaches, along with the addition of focusing on individual strengths and provide a reality therapy perspective. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

Chelsea has been amazing. The last counselor I had through better help I wasn't completely happy with. I'm so glad i said something and switched over. It's been a completely different experience. She listens and pays attention to the things I'm saying. Gives me opportunities to better myself and I don't feel any pressure to get things done when im not in the mood. I can really tell she's there to support me in the ways I need. I'm very happy with her.

Chelsea has been fantastic. Right off the bat she was able to pinpoint my issues and directly address them with clear steps and goals for overcoming them.

Chelsea is amazing. She’s very respectful, kind, caring and prompt. I can talk to her about anything and everything and it’s always helpful. She always has another angle to look at. She’s also honest and committed to her clients. Love her!!

Chelsea has been really integral in helping me to better understand how to process my emotions. In the beginning stages of therapy, I know that it can be overwhelming for a lot of patients. However she is respectful, reassuring, and pleasantly punctual. All of that new therapy fear was erased!

I just started with Chelsea, but I have loved working with her. She listens to me, understands what I need, even if I don’t. She always makes me feel like my feelings are justified instead of judging them. I know she will be there for me on the calm times or rough.
