About Me

I am a Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Missouri and I have been practicing Social Work for almost 12 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, including medical social work, hospice/bereavement social work, and in private practice, working with a variety of ages and various populations. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and other mood disorders.

My therapeutic style is very warm and empathetic. My first goal in sessions is to make the client/s feel as comfortable as possible, especially when the situation is anxiety provoking. I offer a supportive and encouraging perspective while challenging and providing guidance when necessary to reach therapeutic goals. My therapeutic perspective is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral approaches, along with the addition of focusing on individual strengths and provide a reality therapy perspective. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

She is the perfect therapist for me, and, I am certain, many other individuals. Through work with Chelsea I have come out from a deep, dysfunctional depression; I am now functioning at my best self to date. Gratitude.

Chelsea is a wonderful therapist! She listens attentively and it really shows! I feel like she is very easy to be honest with and let her know what's going on. I haven't been able to be this honest with any other therapist. She offers her support while also challenging my thoughts. Having access to Betterhelp has been such a blessing during a time I've needed it most.

Chelsea was so so helpful. She was always quick to respond and gave me very helpful advice. She helped me set goals and gave me motivation to push through challenges. She was very realistic with me and showed me things from a different perspective. Overall she was super helpful and I would recommend her to anyone struggling with different things.

Chelsea’s counseling style is warm and honest. I feel validated and at the same time feel I’m being given straight-forward feed back. She responds quickly and I feel supported. She allows the time needed for progress to take place while still gently pushing me to challenge my lines of thinking. When I do experience personal growth, she’s there to encourage and educate me on how to continue moving forward in the healthiest way for me. I highly recommend her. Chelsea’s guidance has been a huge asset to me as I work towards my goals.

Chelsea has been amazing. The last counselor I had through better help I wasn't completely happy with. I'm so glad i said something and switched over. It's been a completely different experience. She listens and pays attention to the things I'm saying. Gives me opportunities to better myself and I don't feel any pressure to get things done when im not in the mood. I can really tell she's there to support me in the ways I need. I'm very happy with her.

I just started with Chelsea, but I have loved working with her. She listens to me, understands what I need, even if I don’t. She always makes me feel like my feelings are justified instead of judging them. I know she will be there for me on the calm times or rough.
