Hi there! My name is Chelsie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I received my undergraduate degree from Florida State University in Family and Child Sciences and Psychology. I then received my Master's in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. I have completed internships in the medical field, working in neonatal intensive care units and children's hospitals. I also have experience in outpatient therapy with adolescents, adults, and children. I worked for two years in hospice and am very familiar with depression, anxiety, caregiver burnout, stress, and grief.
My counseling style is warm and empathetic, and I am here to support and listen to you. I believe in the dignity and worth of every person, and treating others with kindness and respect. I utilize approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness and relaxation techniques. I will tailor an approach based on your needs and goals.
