About Me

I am an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) who has worked in the field of counseling for the last 14 years. I work with clients with a wide range of concerns from general mental health like depression or anxiety, to couples work, family work, substance use disorder, other process addictions (such as disordered eating), stress management, parenting issues, relationship concerns, and mindfulness-based approaches.

My approach to working with clients is holistic, looking at issues that might be brought to counseling in conjunction with stress management, coping skills, and self-care. I have a warm and open style of working with clients and will work with each person individually to create a plan that will work best for that client. I enjoy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment Theory, and Polyvagal Theory along with a strength based approach.
