Cheryl Taylor, LMHC
About me
Over the course of my career—as a school counselor, higher education instructor, and now a telehealth clinician—I have honed the ability to create trusting, empowering relationships with clients and their families. I value collaboration, transparency, and humor in therapy, and I strive to provide a space where clients feel both seen and celebrated. I help my clients identify their concerns and strengths. Then, we work together to develop a plan to capitalize on your strengths and address your concerns.
I specialize in supporting individuals through life's complex transitions and emotional challenges. My practice focuses on helping clients navigate stress, anxiety, relationship dynamics, and personal growth across various life stages.
I bring deep expertise in addressing self-esteem concerns, ADHD management, and interpersonal relationship issues. My approach is particularly attuned to supporting women, young adults, and individuals experiencing midlife transitions, divorce, and workplace challenges.
I have helped many clients with difficulties related to anxiety, depression, behavior disorders, as well as deficits in executive functioning and impulse control/self-regulation. I have extensive experience helping individuals with ADHD and high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders, and their families.
With compassion and professional insight, I help clients explore attachment patterns, family dynamics, and personal development. My therapeutic style emphasizes understanding, empowerment, and creating meaningful strategies for emotional well-being. I'm committed to walking alongside my clients as they build stronger, more authentic connections with themselves and others.
