Chian Hsu, LCSW
About me
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a deep passion for helping people I strive to assist clients to navigate life’s challenges and move toward a greater sense of balance, confidence, and well-being. I hold both a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), which allows me to support clients not only with emotional wellness but also with stress related to work, career, and life transitions.
My goal is to empower you to use your inherent strengths to overcome difficulties, solve problems more effectively, and build a happy, meaningful and fulfilling life. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, we can work together to help you move forward with clarity and self-compassion. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions and adjustment challenges, grief, and trauma. My approach is holistic, integrative, and strength-based, meaning I look at the whole person — mind, body, life circumstances, and personal strengths — while tailoring therapy to meet your unique needs and goals.
My approach is holistic, culturally sensitive, and solution focused. I use evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help shift unhelpful thought patterns, Mindfulness practices to increase self-awareness and reduce stress and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills for emotional regulation and coping. I practice trauma-informed care, creating a safe and supportive environment where your experiences are respected and your pace is honored. I am fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) and enjoy working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. I value cultural sensitivity and strive to create a space where you feel fully seen, heard, and understood.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, personal growth, resilience, and overall well-being.
