I really appreciated my time working with Chris Mawhinney. I only stopped because of a change in State regulations that prevented me from working with him (apparently online therapy with someone outside the state is not allowed).

Chris is an excellent listener and provided grounded, helpful feedback and advice. I even credit him with my recent career success - I was feeling very depressed and worthless when an opportunity came about, feeling that there was no point in trying. Chris was the one who motivated me to push through and pursue it. And things did come together! I can't thank Chris enough for his help.

Again, I would still be working with Chris if I could - I wish him the best and am certain he will continue to be an excellent therapist and aid to those who work with him.

Chris is attentive and kind. I feel he both listens and provides guidance as needed. I like that his approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which I feel is geared more toward improvement than classic talk therapy.
