I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Connecticut with many years of experience working with both individuals and families while also providing case management. I have worked with clients with a ride range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, difficulty with life transitions, cancer, grief, and end of life.
I have a specialty in grief, loss and oncology. I have extensive experience in helping both the patient and the family in these very difficult situations. It may help you to know that I lost my mom to cancer at 19 which is what brought me to this unique specialty. I have worked in an outpatient oncology center for 3 years and have been working with both adults and children who are coping with grief for the past 7 years.
I also specialize in relationship related this issues. This includes but is not limited to, navigating complex relationships, break ups and assistance communicating,
My counseling style is client- centered and I believe that the most important part of therapy is the alliance created between the client and the therapist. I am passionate about empowering others through life's challenges and am hopeful that through communication and commitment on both ends, I can help you get to a place you are feeling much better about these difficulties you are dealing with right now.
Taking the steps to begin therapy is not always easy, but it can be so helpful in getting to a place where you are able to live a more fulfilling life. It may help to know that I have years of experience being the client in a counseling relationship and I have been very picky about what I looked for in my therapist. I have learned first hand how important it is to have a therapist that I feel comfortable saying anything to and feeling validated no matter how I am feeling. If this is the kind of client/therapist relationship you are looking for, you have come to the right place!
I look forward to working with you.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Christie Fiori . We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I've been working with Christie for a couple of months now and I cannot say enough good things about her. She always makes me feel like my concerns are valid and always offers great tools to help me. I'd absolutely recommend Christie to anyone looking to start therapy, especially if they're new to it. She makes me feel so comfortable.
Therapy sessions with Christie have literally changed my life. She is a great therapist and I always feel heard. She always points me in the right direction with all my problems and I have seen a tremendous change since starting therapy 6 months ago. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Christie is incredibly easy to talk to. I am new to counseling and Christie has made me feel so comfortable. I’d highly recommend her!
Christie has been nothing short of amazing. I am new to therapy and she has made me incredibly comfortable. Easy to talk to, always available, and gives the right balance of letting you speak while providing probing questions and providing advice. Could not be happier with the experience.
She was great. Christi helped me discuss topics with family and friends and how to draw boarders. She did a great job!
Christie is great at making me feel like she can understand where I am coming from. I appreciate her positivity and ability to reflect what I say to her to make sure we understand each other. I look forward to our weekly conversations.
This is my first time ever trying out therapy and Christie is amazing. She's so understanding and easy to talk to and it seriously feels like talking to a friend who just gets everything I'm going through. She has helped ease my anxiety and begin to work through grief/family concerns/etc. I look forward to our sessions every week and could not recommend her enough!
I have just started counseling services with Christie - and I already feel very understood and supported by her. Would highly recommend her to family, friends and anyone looking for great counseling!
Christie has been great to talk with about everything happening in my life, and what’s to come. She allows me to have that space where I can vent and let go of the fear of having my feelings judged.
Christie is amazing and honestly I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I decided to get professional help but she walked me through it and didn’t make me feel like a patient. She talks to me like a friend and that’s what I need right now. I feel heard and validated. She’s good at what she does.
I’ve only been seeing Christie a few short weeks, but I feel completely comfortable talking with her.
