Christina Colistro, LPC
About me
I am licensed in Idaho with 3 years of professional work experience. My approach combines evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and trauma-informed care—with a holistic perspective including mindfulness, somatic awareness, and intuitive healing to foster balance, clarity, inner freedom. and overall well-being. My goal is to encourage clients to move forward, break patterns, and create a life aligned with their values.
I support couples and individuals (ages 12 and up) in working through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, unresolved emotional wounds, stress, grief and loss, attachment concerns, emotional regulation, women’s issues, LGBTQ+ support, and more. I collaborates with each client to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to their unique needs and goals.
Life is hard enough, finding a therapist to connect with shouldn't be.
My main flex is that I provide honest conversations, zero judgment and a little humor along the way. Healing does not have to feel heavy to be real and growth does not have to be perfect, it just has to start somewhere. It is never too late to rewrite your own story, let me help you make this chapter have a beautiful plot twist.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Christina Colistro. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
She listens and makes me feel validated and does not make my problems seem little or irrelevant. She shows me how to cope with something new every session and she is always reassured me of the light and the end of the tunnel plus gives me positive things to end on with our sessions so I’m not just left with just negatives to dwell on.
