Christina Cooper-Gomm, LCSW
About me
Hi! I'm Christina, a licensed therapist in Utah with over 10 years of experience. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with clients ranging 4 years old to end of life/geriatric care. In different settings, from schools to on-call crisis intervention, couples therapy, adolescent treatment programs, family counseling and high level executive counseling. I’ve seen firsthand how life’s challenges can leave people feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the future—but I truly believe change is possible for everyone.
My approach is down-to-earth, supportive, and solution-focused. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you not only work through past experiences while also learning the tools in order to create the future you want. You are the expert of your own story, and I see my role as helping you uncover your strengths, build confidence, and learn how to navigate life’s ups and downs.
I became a therapist because I know how powerful it is when someone truly listens, validates your experiences, and gives you the space to grow. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, self-doubt, relationship issues, or just feeling stuck, I’m here to support you. We’ll work together at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you.
Taking the first step toward change takes courage, and I’m honored to be part of that journey with you. Either way, nice to "virtually" meet you!

Christina is so nice and I immediately trust her and like her. It’s not easy being a man seeking therapy (at least for me it wasn’t) but she is amazing .

Christina is so amazing. She really listens to you and hears your story. She's great at reading between the lines and getting to the deeper meaning. She does a great job balancing pushing you to see areas of improvement, maintaining trust and the relationship, and being honest. She's really helping me explore my past to help move forward in a healthier way while being compassionate with myself

Christina is exceptional. She is empathetic, knowledgeable and skilled in your treatment style. She ends every session with a tangible goal for me to work on during the week. I feel like I am making excellent progress with my presenting concerns due to her expertise.

I have only met with Christina a few times, but from the beginning I feel like her style of coaching and offering therapeutic advice has been very helpful! I look forward to continuing to work with her as I break down barriers and continue to see the value that's inside of me.
