Christina Cooper-Gomm, LCSW
About me
Hi! I'm Christina, a licensed therapist in Utah with over 10 years of experience. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with clients ranging 4 years old to end of life/geriatric care. In different settings, from schools to on-call crisis intervention, couples therapy, adolescent treatment programs, family counseling and high level executive counseling. I’ve seen firsthand how life’s challenges can leave people feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the future—but I truly believe change is possible for everyone.
My approach is down-to-earth, supportive, and solution-focused. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you not only work through past experiences while also learning the tools in order to create the future you want. You are the expert of your own story, and I see my role as helping you uncover your strengths, build confidence, and learn how to navigate life’s ups and downs.
I became a therapist because I know how powerful it is when someone truly listens, validates your experiences, and gives you the space to grow. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, self-doubt, relationship issues, or just feeling stuck, I’m here to support you. We’ll work together at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you.
Taking the first step toward change takes courage, and I’m honored to be part of that journey with you. Either way, nice to "virtually" meet you!

Christina is a true girl's girl. She has helped me process so much of my childhood trauma and saved my relationship. She is so accommodating and always is there for you, even when you aren't in session. She is super smart and insightful and does so much for me. I'd recommend her to any of my friends or loved ones!

Christina is absolutely amazing. She likes to get to the root of the issue and actually help you feel better rather than bandaid fixes. She makes me feel heard and supported. She is genuinely the best therapist I’ve had

I’ve been working with Christina for just a couple of weeks now, she’s very compassionate and listens intently. I’ve explained what I look for in therapy and she’s doing great walking me though our journey. She’s helping me clear my mind and refrain my thinking and my goals. I highly recommend her to anyone looking

Christina is compassionate, an empathetic listener, and a kind soul. Her questioning helps guide me to look at multiple perspectives and angles of a situation, and she is gentle in her approach. Christina and my work to regain confidence and trust in myself has been instrumental in my day to day happiness. She is quick to respond and is honest in her approach. I’m very grateful that I got matched to Christina.

Christina is so nice and I immediately trust her and like her. It’s not easy being a man seeking therapy (at least for me it wasn’t) but she is amazing .
