About me

“You spend most of your life inside your head, make it a nice place to be.” - unknown

My Therapeutic Perspective

My primary therapeutic approach is rooted in a person-centered approach. I also utilize different therapeutic perspectives such as attachment theory, cognitive therapies, and dialectical behavior therapy. I believe every person is unique so I individualize therapy to meet each person’s specific needs.
I believe that everyone is the expert of their own lives and everyone within themselves has the capabilities of reaching their full potential. Through a collaborative therapeutic experience, my purpose is to create a safe space where you can express the fullness of who you are without judgment, be a guide on your healing journey, and provide you with the necessary tools to reach your full potential. I value the importance of the counseling relationship and believe that when a person receives unconditional positive regard, empathy, and safety is when healing can begin.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Christina Moffitt. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I appreciate that Christina was willing to watch The Program before our first session, and asked questions that were easy to answer but was still able to give a pretty in depth description. I dont get anxious for my appointments, either, i look forward to talking to her. I also like how the questions are easy to expand on and flow into other things that help her get to know me. She makes me feel comfortable. We've only had a couple sessions, so i'd like to answer this later after we get more work in. But so far, I couldnt have asked for a better therapist.
