My name is Christina and I am a social worker with years of experience in practically every level of care in mental health. This has provided me with valuable experience in working with people to provide treatment in accordance with their personal experiences and preferences, and educate regarding valuable resources to assist you in furthering your support in the community. With regard to academics, I hold a Masters in Social Work and a certificate in addiction counselor training from Rutgers University. I have taken part in advanced trainings in areas of trauma and cognitive behavioral therapy in order to supplement and finetune the skills that I bring to the counseling relationship.
As someone who has faced personal challenges, I have found a passion in helping others to find a path through their own. As a social worker, I believe in building upon an individual's strengths to address barriers while incorporating healthy coping techniques to improve overall wellness. I am willing to work with those who fall into any "category" along the spectrum of mental health who share a common goal to live their best life so long as we both agree that the therapeutic relationship is helpful.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Christina Pruden. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
When I began therapy, I had trouble finding someone who I connected with to discuss my life’s situations. Christina changed all of that for me. While facing emotional challenges can be extremely difficult, Christina creates a welcoming environment to help address the problems you are facing. Christina goes out of her way to provide you the necessary tools to help you handle what you are going through in your life. She genuinely cares for your well-being. I highly recommend Christina for anyone, especially those who have had a difficult time finding a therapist that they are comfortable with.
Christina was so kind and understanding. While it was my first time reaching out for my mental health, she was always willing to listen and asked the right questions to drive the conversation deeper. She provided me with a lot of resources to help me improve my mental health and I would strongly recommend her services, and BetterHelp in general, to anyone as I believe talking to a trained professional can always help.
I appreciate that Christina listens well. I appreciate that she’s teaching me/suggesting coping skills so once I discover and can acknowledge a problem, it doesn’t just stay that way. I’m learning to work it through and become a better, thriving person. How wonderful is that?! Thank you, Christina.
She’s very knowledgeable, gives great tools to help me work through my problems, and makes me feel heard.
With the little time I had with you meant more to me then anything. I really enjoyed our talks and how safe you made me feel. Thank you
