Welcome! My name is Christina Ramdat and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey. Currently, I am also a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) for the state of New Jersey. Additionally, I am certified in Trauma Response and Crisis Intervention. At this time I have received my Master's in Counseling Psychology in 2016 and currently in pursuit of a PhD in Organizational Leadership related to Business Psychology. I have over 8 years of clinical experience, working with Co-Occurring populations. This means that in my practice I focus on mental health and substance abuse issues concurrently. I have experience working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and trauma related issues such as sexual, physical and emotional abuse. In addition, I have worked extensively with individuals who suffer from substance abuse disorders and provided relapse prevention and effective coping skills to help them address their issues.
My counseling style is warm, interactive, and encouraging. I truly believe that with the right support any individual is capable of overcoming all obstacles. My counseling approach combines a number of different styles which includes motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral, psychoeducation, and solution-focused therapy. However, please note that my counseling style is tailored to meet your specific needs and help accomplish your unique goals for therapy. My counseling motto is "Turn Pain Into Power." I am significantly invested in empowering you to achieve all that you set out to accomplish in therapy as I believe in treating everyone with respect, compassion, and kindness.

Christina is amazing! I have experienced more personal growth in my few months with her than I have in years. I have found a greater sense of direction, and more awareness/control over my mental health than ever before. I've been in a better place ever since starting therapy with her.

Christina has provided me an environment where I feel comfortable and safe to share and discuss my relationship issues. Just a few weeks in and already my positive experience has exceeded my expectations. Great listener, and motivator.

In only two sessions, Christina is already changing my life. She's helping me begin the process of overcoming long standing grief, and already given me some "a-ha" moments about my situation. I highly recommend her.

Christina is AWESOME. This is my first time doing therapy and I was so nervous, but she makes it almost easy. I feel like every week I get to just talk freely with someone who will listen and support me, and who is looking out for what’s best for me. She helps me set goals and find realist ways of achieving them. If you’re on the fence, go for it. Christina is fantastic and working with her via BetterHelp has truly been everything I needed and more.
