Christine Burcham
About me
I am a qualified, BACP registered, integrative humanist therapist, which means I draw on different approaches and techniques depending on your unique needs. Life can be overwhelming at times, whether its anxiety, stress, low confidence or relationship difficulties and you may be coping on the outside while struggling quietly inside.
I believe we are the experts on what is best for us, but we sometimes need some help along the way to figure things out. Therapy is a safe, supportive space where you don't have to pretend or carry things alone.
Together we can explore your thoughts and feelings, make sense of what you're going through and find ways forward that help you feel calmer, stronger and more in control.
I bring 25 years’ experience of working within social care and the NHS, supporting people with mental health and emotional difficulties all ages and diverse identities and backgrounds, with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self esteem issues and life changes.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Christine Burcham. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Christine is really attentive in our sessions, she makes me feel comfortable enough to be open with her, whilst creating a safe space to explore topics that might not feel comfortable. She is able to guide me through different topics in a kind and gentle way, yet is able to also be direct and ask difficult questions which in turn help me reflect, in order to gain insight, understanding and clarity. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Christine has been absolutely wonderful to work with. From the very beginning, she made me feel completely comfortable, understood, and supported. She listens with genuine care, gives thoughtful guidance, and creates a space where it feels safe to open up without any judgment. Every session with her felt grounding and reassuring, and I always left feeling lighter and clearer.
She has a warm, calming presence and a way of understanding things that makes you feel truly seen. I’m genuinely grateful for the time I had with her, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist who is empathetic, attentive, and invested in helping you grow and feel better.
