About me

Welcome!

I honor your interest in seeking out a therapist to work with and hope to provide some information here to help guide your choice.

I am a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. I have over seven years in working as a therapist with past experience in community mental health supporting children, adolescents, and adults through a range of concerns including mood and thought disorders, adjustments to life changes, difficult choices, challenges in relationships, and traumatic life events and related stress.

My approach to therapy is grounded in my eclectic training and informed by a thoughtful application of theories and interventions that can support your wellbeing and self-expression. I believe that the first step to therapy is offering a supportive relationship that can help you find security in the present moment and from there offering you opportunities for increasing self-awareness, helping you understand yourself and how your choices can affect your health and relationships, and providing the space for you to address what you need to in therapy to grow and heal.

I received my Masters in Art Therapy and Counseling from Drexel College of Nursing and Health Professions in 2015 and have stayed active in seeking additional education and training, including a three year Gestalt training program completed in 2021. I offer this training as a resource to you and consider you the expert of your life.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Christine Manturuk. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Christine works with me in ways that I've never had a therapist work with me. She helps me through my thoughts, and even tries to help by guiding me through them to work out what I should do when I find myself in difficult situations. She's a wonderful therapist, and I'd recommend her to anybody looking to get into therapy.

Christine is really graceful in allowing me to heal, grieve, process and grow. I am so happy she is my therapist. I highly recommend better help to friends, coworkers and random people thats how useful Christine and her experience have been in my life. I am a lot less anxious and much calmer after every time I haveva session with Christine.

I think Christine is great. Her guidance and validation over the last year has changed my perception of what I’m actually going/have gone through. I feel listened to and I appreciate when she takes a pause to really think about the intention she’s putting into her next words and thoughts for me. I am now one of those people that say “well my therapist says…”

If you are looking for someone to take in what you are saying and then allow you to paint the picture that is you, Christine is the person for you. She provides room for self-discovery and shows you the utmost respect and dignity.

Christine really listens and remembers what I share in our sessions. She has helped me explore my inner landscape and process some old junk I've been carrying around for years. My life has changed greatly — I feel lighter, more motivated, and more in touch with how I feel. All this has made decision-making easier and I sleep better at night which were big goals of mine. I also feel so empowered and more grounded. I love her and will continue to work with her!
