About me

I have been in private practice since 1991, serving individuals in my community. I have also served as adjunct faculty at UGA and UNG teaching undergrad psychology courses. I have a solid understanding of the struggles we face navigating the difficulties of life where my knowledge and compassion aim to facilitate growth and healing for individuals within their selves and in their relationships. My style of therapy is one of warmth and engaging with each person in the story of their life and the difficulties within that. It is my goal to create an open and inviting atmosphere for people to explore themselves.

I absolutely love talking to Dr. Olsen. After my first session I felt so much better. She really listens to me and my concerns and helps me understand my emotions. I would absolutely recommend both Dr. Olsen and the better help app.
